BUMMER!

As you can see I changed the layout of my blog. Its still not entirely the look I'm going after - I may just have to pay someone to do it. But the BUMMER is I lost a bunch of stuff, because I decided NOT to save the other template. Grrrrr.....

The silliest thing of all was that I lost that map and stat counter. Getting a new map doesn't bother me, but when I get a new stat counter it will start all over again at 0. So for the record, so I can add it to the new total when I put a new stat counter - last I noticed I was at about 3,995 - granted, 3,990 are probably from the times I click on my own blog - but still, I liked seeing that number. I know, immature, but it is one of those little irritating things.

Keep it in perspective Jen!

EDITED: See, most times we get irritated, there is no reason to. When I went looking for stat counters, you can put in your own starting number. Hmmmmm, I should have started with 582,643 so it makes my blog look super popular :)

I didn't know you changed your layout by yourself. Teach me, please! I would love to change the look of mine all by myself...with your help of course!

One more question. Is your "Dear House" a Mosey'n Me pattern?

Hi Loni! I searched the web for "free blogger templates" - you then copy the code they give and go under your "layout" under template somewhere and replace the code with the one you want.

WARNING: I would download your original template - just in case. I didn't use any posts, just a bunch of links that I like. Thankfully I didn't have too much and I remember them enough to get them back as I have time.

As for the "Dear House" - I picked it up at Kohl's this week - I don't recall if the box had moseynme on it or not - the plaque itself doesn't say that :)

Oops - meant to say I didn't "lose" the links - not "use".

I didn't know you could do this. Thank you so much!

...And thank you for the info on the "Dear House" plaque. I love it!

Stay, stay at home, my heart, and rest;
Home-keeping hearts are happiest,
For those that wander they know not where
Are full of trouble and full of care;
To stay at home is best.

Weary and homesick and distressed,
They wander east, they wander west,
And are baffled and beaten and blown about
By the winds of the wilderness of doubt;
To stay at home is best.

Then stay at home, my heart, and rest;
The bird is safest in its nest;
O'er all that flutter their wings and fly
A hawk is hovering in the sky;
To stay at home is best.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
