The Church of Oprah Exposed

I admit as a first time stay at home mom, I occasionally watched Oprah. Not occasionally like a few times a year, but a few times a week. Many times the Lord (the one and only Lord, Jesus Christ) convicted me to turn that trash off. Finally a few years ago I did turn her off. Occasionally a weight loss episode would catch my eye, and I'd turn it on, but other than that, I began seeing Oprah Winfrey for who she really is (shudder).

Being that I don't watch her, I was a little out of the loop as to the latest Oprah craze (there always seems to be an Oprah craze). I did hear that she was having some broadcast on Easter Sunday and it saddened me, but I didn't give it another thought. A few weeks ago, my neighbor was talking about some new book she was reading by Eckhart something or other, but again, I had no idea what she was talking about.

Then my friend sent me this. I feel very scared. In the video, you will pick up the untruths, what jumped out to me the most is when this Eckhart character says (I'm summarizing, not quoting) - "Jesus says we are the way, the truth and the light." WRONG. This is DEAD WRONG. Jesus He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light. No man comes to the Father, but by HIM. Oprah and Eckart ARE WRONG. There is only ONE way to God (heaven) and that is through JESUS CHRIST ALONE. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, suffered under Pontius Pilate, died on the cross, was buried and ROSE AGAIN. This was all to be the sacrifice for my, for your, sins, so that we could have eternal life with God. If we believe this, and confess it with our mouths, WE WILL BE SAVED.

This man and Oprah are twisting Scripture, and I have cold, sweaty palms, and shivers watching this. Oprah Winfrey has probably in one way or the other infiltrated every home, every church, and its high time we turn off this garbage for good. Its blocking and clouding our thinking from hearing the REAL TRUTH.

You know, I like Ophra, but she is full of herself.....she's always trying to find some kind of spiritual way, she should just go back to her baptist beliefs.....I don't watch her anymore.....too busy. Liz

Stay, stay at home, my heart, and rest;
Home-keeping hearts are happiest,
For those that wander they know not where
Are full of trouble and full of care;
To stay at home is best.

Weary and homesick and distressed,
They wander east, they wander west,
And are baffled and beaten and blown about
By the winds of the wilderness of doubt;
To stay at home is best.

Then stay at home, my heart, and rest;
The bird is safest in its nest;
O'er all that flutter their wings and fly
A hawk is hovering in the sky;
To stay at home is best.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
