In Case You Were Wondering :)

Nope, we don't have twins :) And I'm no further along than I thought.

It was so WONDERFUL to see our little baby, and to see the heartbeat! Is it too early to guess the gender based on heart rate? My kids all went by that old wives tale (is it a tale or is it scientific? - I don't even know) - both boys were always around 120-130 bpm, and my daughter was always 150-170. This baby was 170 :) But I seem to remember that when they are first developing, the heart rates are the same for both genders. Logistically, another girl would be great since we have 3 bedrooms, and right now my little girl is in a bedroom all by herself :)

And in case you are wondering, we probably won't find out the gender this time. It was fun finding out for our little girl, but I liked it MUCH better when we didn't find out with the boys until birth :)

Can you tell I'm smiling a lot today :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Congrats that all is well with baby #4!!!! Lord Bless...Liz

Stay, stay at home, my heart, and rest;
Home-keeping hearts are happiest,
For those that wander they know not where
Are full of trouble and full of care;
To stay at home is best.

Weary and homesick and distressed,
They wander east, they wander west,
And are baffled and beaten and blown about
By the winds of the wilderness of doubt;
To stay at home is best.

Then stay at home, my heart, and rest;
The bird is safest in its nest;
O'er all that flutter their wings and fly
A hawk is hovering in the sky;
To stay at home is best.
