Shhhhh.....I'm Not Really Back......

I'm not really back, but did want to share this really great deal as I believe it will end before I come back!

If you sew, McCalls is doing a free pattern giveaway - here's the link with the details:

http://www.mccallpattern.com/special_offers/freepattern.htm

Only 1 pattern per house, and you still must pay shipping and handling, but I just ordered a pattern that was $9.57 on sale, and only paid about $4.00 for shipping and handling - that just made my day!

Everything is going great - my house (except for the garage) is completely organized and de-cluttered - all closets, under sinks, in cupboards, EVERYTHING. I even vacuumed out the dark basement area where our storage and laundry is. Housekeeping is amazingly simple when you don't have a lot of clutter and everything has a home! Even the kids love it, and there is a calm in our home - its lovely. How freeing and what a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders by getting rid of what we no longer or haven't ever used! Although we haven't done anything to set up for the baby (I'm only 18 weeks), the space is all set for however we decide to set up his/her things. We've been spending several hours a day outside (that is when it hasn't been raining, and even then, we've sat on the front porch or under our tent-gazebo) - its been very refreshing. I also have finished up my lists with routines, grocery lists, budget, etc. - yes, even the paperwork is organized! Oh, and one last thing, we've put our TV on hold until the middle of September - we intended to do that in the beginning of the summer. Its actually one chicken step towards cancelling it all-together - we went a long time without it once upon a time, but by and by, it crept back, and well, no looking back - its off! Hooray!

But, I've gotta go! I'm not really back! Take McCall's up on their offer! Its a good one!

Stay, stay at home, my heart, and rest;
Home-keeping hearts are happiest,
For those that wander they know not where
Are full of trouble and full of care;
To stay at home is best.

Weary and homesick and distressed,
They wander east, they wander west,
And are baffled and beaten and blown about
By the winds of the wilderness of doubt;
To stay at home is best.

Then stay at home, my heart, and rest;
The bird is safest in its nest;
O'er all that flutter their wings and fly
A hawk is hovering in the sky;
To stay at home is best.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
